The Dog Groomer College at Petropolis Academy began training future pet groomers in 1993. Our trainer college was added in 2006. Petropolis’ instructors are the best in the business. The Academy is certified to operate by the Missouri Coordinating Board of Higher Education. We are also approved as an International Society of Canine Cosmetologists Certified Pet Styling School. We are also a member of the Missouri Association of Private Career Schools.

The goal of effective training is to produce a positive relationship between the owner and the dog.  In addition to teaching many facets of dog training, our Dog Trainer College will teach students valuable people skills.  And since training pets is of little value without employment, our Trainer College will also spend much time teaching you how to apply your pet training skills toward a successful occupation or even start your own business.
